The Role
Working for a leading specialist Tool Hire provider, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual, experienced in mechanical and electrical repairs, someone who enjoys repairing equipment with basic mechanical knowledge. As part of the role you would also be the back up delivery driver, covering for holidays, sickness and busy periods, driving a 3.5t box van, delivering power tools, and specialist equipment, and collect equipment from site when no longer needed in the Manchester / North West area. Joining a small team, you will also be expected to help out in and around the depot as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Basic repairs, cleaning and PAT testing of mechanical and electrical equipment
- Delivering and collecting construction tools and specialist equipment
- Be responsible for your vehicle, completing driver checks as required
- Complete delivery and collection paperwork
- Keep the yard and storage areas organised and tidy
- Help out in the depot as and when required
