An exciting, varied role in a fast-moving environment where no two days are the same. Working in a small team, you will be responsible for all the administrative duties for Metropolis Education and its partner schools through the support of the sales team, invoicing, social media/marketing, events, logistics, planning, communications and research. The role will involve events in the UK and overseas with some travel expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raising and managing invoices for events, training and associated costs, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
  • Maintaining and updating the key databases and “the Bible”, including:
    • Updating contacts and key decision-makers.
    • Diarising and tracking termly client meetings.
    • Managing ROI tracking, usage summaries and performance reporting.
    • Education Agent Database (Excel), Helpdesk and prospectus enquiries.
    • Image libraries, guides, downloadable resources, and internal forms essential to business operations.
    • Managing the internal inbox, responding where appropriate and escalating enquiries efficiently.
    • Sending guides and information packs to parents, prospective and current clients, schools and other contacts as required.
    • Helping prioritise workload around peak event periods and acting as a point of contact for client enquiries when the core team is overseas, ensuring timely responses and smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Conducting research for UK and overseas events, including identifying and managing new contacts and opportunities.
  • Supporting event logistics, delegate communications, and preparation materials.
  • Attending UK and overseas events where required to assist with set-up, delivery and on-the-ground support.
  • Assisting with the back-office management of the ticketing platform (registrations, attendee data, monitoring bookings).
  • Gathering and analysing event data to inform reporting, future planning, and marketing decisions.
  • Preparing event marketing materials, including leaflets, brochures, event guides, travel guides, and supporting assets.
  • Administering and scheduling social media content across platforms, and assisting with gathering copy and images for campaigns.
  • Supporting content planning, campaign delivery, and the scheduling and distribution of email campaigns to prospective and existing clients.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure marketing output is accurate, on-brand and timely.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Canva is a plus.
  • Knowledge of WordPress is a plus.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and ticketing systems is a plus.
