Money Marketing, the award-winning title for the UK’s financial adviser profession, is looking for a sharp, driven and digitally minded Chief Reporter to lead our news agenda and help shape the future of our editorial output. This is a senior newsroom position with real influence. You’ll be responsible for generating high-impact exclusives, shaping feature content and playing a key role in the evolution of our online-first strategy. You’ll also help mentor reporters, support content planning and commissioning, and contribute to audio-visual and editorial innovation.
Key responsibilities:
- News leadership: Deliver exclusive, off-diary news stories that set the industry agenda. Build and maintain deep contacts within the financial services sector to ensure Money Marketing breaks stories first.
- Feature development: Pitch, write and edit engaging feature content. Collaborate with the team on new section ideas and help refine best practices across interviews, opinion pieces and longform journalism.
- Editorial strategy: Work with the editor to refresh and align our editorial strategy.
