Weymouth Town Council is recruiting a Deputy Town Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer to join our Senior Leadership Team. You will manage a budget of over £4.2m, support 25 Councillors and up to 80 staff, and ensure financial health and compliance across the Council.
The role combines strategic financial leadership with governance responsibilities, including budget setting, year-end accounts, audits, VAT, procurement, and internal controls. You will deputise for the Town Clerk when needed.
