The role

Are you looking for a hands-on role where you can utilise your building and maintenance skills? Join Emanuel School\’s dedicated Estates team and play a key role in maintaining and improving our historic buildings, vibrant green spaces and extensive sports grounds.

You will manage, monitor and undertake a range of maintenance duties and minor building-related projects. This will involve practical tasks across various trades, including carpentry, carpet laying, brickwork, plastering, glazing, plumbing, decorating, and minor electrical and lighting work.

A key part of your role will be the ongoing assessment of the schools estate, reporting any issues, and taking swift action where necessary to maintain a safe environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

About you

Were looking for candidates with a broad range of practical building skills including carpentry, decorating, brickwork, plumbing, plastering, and minor electrical work.

You should have a solid track record of delivering building projects, carrying out routine maintenance, overseeing contractors, and maintaining high standards of Health & Safety and regulatory compliance.
