This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role providing expert careers guidance to the senior year pupils at Emanuel School.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of Emanuel School’s annual careers convention and similar events, such as networking events for popular career areas.
- Speak at after‑school events for parents on careers.
- Oversee the internship programme for sixth‑form leavers, keep students up to date with work‑experience opportunities and manage the psychometric testing and interviewing process for Year 11s.
- Support tutors with the UCAS process – supervising applications for a group of Y13 pupils, advising on personal statements, editing references and quality control – under the direction of the Director of Higher Education, and act as the UCAS supervisor for all Year 14 applicants.
Experience
Experience of managing a careers and higher education support service in a school or sixth‑form environment is essential.
