The role

Emanuel School is looking for an Estates Operative to join us on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop a career in estates management.

As an Estates Operative, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Estates Department. Your duties will include setting up for school events, assisting with porterage duties, carrying out minor maintenance and repairs, and supporting statutory compliance testing such as legionella monitoring and fire alarm checks. You will also act as a key holder, taking responsibility for unlocking and locking the premises to ensure the security of the school.

A full, clean driving licence is essential, along with a willingness to act as a minibus driver and to undertake various other transport-related tasks. You will be physically capable of meeting the demands of the role, have a practical understanding of estates and maintenance work, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
