We are seeking a Policy Writer to design, draft, and implement risk policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements. This role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders across legal, risk, and business lines to ensure policies are effectively Embedded within the organization\’s risk and control framework.
Key Responsibilities
Design and draft risk policies in accordance with PRA/Basel 3.1 guidance.
Manage stakeholder engagement and effectively socialize policies.
Integrate policies into the organizational risk and control framework.
Collaborate with first and second lines of defense (1LoD and 2LoD) on key risk controls.
Develop communication materials to support policy adoption.
Review and update policies regularly to reflect evolving requirements.
Prepare summary reports on business and regulatory progress.
Requirements
Strong understanding of banking regulations and risk management principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
Proven track record of drafting clear, concise, and actionable policy documents.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to risk management.
Experience in developing and delivering training materials.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
