Responsibilities

  • Implement Python-based analytics under the guidance of a Senior Quant Developer
  • Translate defined spreadsheet logic into clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Work within Coremont’s proprietary analytics framework and libraries
  • Support testing, validation, and automation of analytics components
  • Build domain knowledge across hedge fund analytics and financial products

Key Requirements

  • Strong Python development skills
  • Graduate or early-career background in a quantitative discipline (e.g. maths, physics, engineering, finance)
  • Specialisation or strong interest in equities or rates
  • Basic understanding of financial models and relational/SQL-style data concepts

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to analytical or quantitative frameworks
  • Familiarity with hedge fund or asset-management operations

  • 12-month project with imminent funding approval
  • Focused on re-engineering legacy spreadsheets into production-grade Python components
