We are seeking a Frontend Developer to join our innovative team, a UK-based tech venture that aims to build and support start-ups with a focus on Sharia-compliant FinTech applications. This role requires expertise in React Native, and offers the opportunity to contribute to a project designed for business start-ups and SMEs.
Main Responsibilities
As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing high-quality code to create responsive user interfaces.
- Collaborating with the Tech Lead on architectural decisions.
- Working closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs.
- Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
- Contributing to project planning and timelines.
- Utilizing JIRA for project management and task tracking.
- Communicating daily with the Tech Lead to address technical hurdles.
Key Requirements
- Proficiency in React Native framework.
- Hands-on experience in frontend development.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar project management tools.
- Understanding of the FinTech space is a plus
- Experience in designing investor-grade mockups and prototypes.
- Knowledge of Sharia-compliance in financial applications.
- Background in integration with third-party APIs.
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure.
