We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise across FX and Money Market (MMT) products to support a key Front Office transformation programme within a leading investment bank. This role will be instrumental in leading feasibility studies for new product functionality, defining business requirements, evaluating solutions, and providing cost and effort estimates to support project approval and delivery. The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to Front Office stakeholders, leveraging deep product knowledge and Murex expertise to drive analysis and solution design.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead feasibility studies for new FX and Money Market product initiatives, including solution assessment and cost estimation.
- Partner with Front Office and business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
- Conduct GAP analysis to identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Review and enhance current and future-state trade booking and trade life cycle workflows.
- Perform detailed analysis across FX and Money Market products, providing recommendations and driving solution delivery.
- Map financial products into trading system templates and conduct detailed pricing model analysis.
- Produce delivery estimates to support Front Office project approval and planning.
- Investigate and resolve trade booking queries.
- Provide regular project and workstream status updates to stakeholders.
- Support additional business and project requirements as needed.
- Serve as the primary Front Office contact for business analysis tasks, issues, and solution discussions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven Business Analyst experience within a top-tier investment bank.
- Strong product knowledge across Foreign Exchange (FX) and Money Market (MMT) asset classes.
- Ability to interpret and map products from term sheets and business specifications.
- Excellent understanding of trade booking processes and trade life cycle management.
- Strong knowledge of P&L, Risk Management, and Market Data concepts.
- Experience with pricing models, trade pricing, simulation, and curve construction.
- Good working knowledge of the Murex platform.
- Good knowledge of Bloomberg products and data services.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage business and technology teams at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver under pressure.
- Proven track record of owning and delivering feasibility study activities from inception through approval.
- Good understanding of RET interfaces and related workflows.
