We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion EDP Finance Transformation Business Analyst to support a major finance transformation programme involving the migration from Oracle E-business Suite (EBS) to Oracle Cloud Fusion. This role will focus on the Enterprise Data Planning (EDP) platform, supporting planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes across a complex banking environment. The successful candidate will combine strong Oracle Fusion EDP expertise with deep finance knowledge to help deliver a seamless transition, drive business change, and provide valuable analytical and financial insights. This role requires close collaboration with finance, technology, and business stakeholders across multiple EMEA entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, translating them into actionable project deliverables.
- Develop and present clear activity plans and recommendations for senior management review and approval.
- Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned to agreed specifications.
- Support finance transformation and change management initiatives through accurate documentation and status reporting.
- Deliver project activities in line with programme objectives while maintaining effective communication across workstreams.
- Prepare, execute, review, and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Facilitate business workshops to gather requirements and support solution design activities.
- Work closely with finance and technology teams to ensure Oracle Fusion EDP solutions meet business needs.
- Provide data analysis and reporting support to aid strategic decision-making and forecasting activities.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering Oracle Fusion EDP modules within Corporate & Investment Banking environments.
- Strong understanding of revenue allocation, cost allocation, and forecasting methodologies.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a strong understanding of IFRS reporting standards.
- Degree-level education in Accounting, Finance, Business, Technology, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable experience supporting finance transformation and change programmes within the banking sector.
- Experience leading or facilitating business requirements workshops with senior stakeholders.
- Strong background in data-driven projects and business analysis.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and financial interpretation skills.
- Knowledge of accounting treatments for vanilla banking products.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion and exposure to Oracle EBS General Ledger (GL) environments.
- Strong SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to stakeholders at all levels.
