We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team, focusing on tax-related projects, with a particular emphasis on VAT and FATCA compliance. The role involves supporting the end-to-end data management process, from gathering and analysing requirements through to solution design, stakeholder engagement, and testing. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in data to ensure business needs are met and regulatory standards are upheld

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, validate, and document project requirements.

Compile clear and comprehensive formal documentation, including requirements and solution proposals.

Develop and present proposed solutions to business users, ensuring alignment with operational and regulatory needs.

Translate business requirements into actionable deliverables for technical and non-technical teams.

Apply subject matter expertise in data to challenge, refine, and enhance stakeholder requirements.

Facilitate and actively participate in workshops with internal and external stakeholders.

Conduct system and integration testing to ensure solution quality and compliance.

Monitor project risks and issues, escalating them to management when required

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Data Analyst within tax-related projects, ideally covering VAT and FATCA.

Strong proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.

Solid understanding of data analysis techniques, including data mapping, cleansing, and transformation.

Skilled in presenting analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Knowledge of system and integration testing processes and best practices.

Familiarity with business analysis techniques and creating functional specification documentation.

Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups in a structured project environment.

Background knowledge of tax compliance regulations and international reporting standards.
