emagine is seeking a Support Consultant with expertise in Equities to deliver exceptional application support on the front office trade floor. The ideal candidate will excel in second and third line support, leveraging skills in Python scripting within UNIX and LINUX environments. Key to this role is the ability to promptly troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring uninterrupted trading operations. Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in managing complex stakeholder relationships will be essential.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide second and third line support for equities trading applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting trading activities.
- Utilize Python scripting to automate processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist with user administration and application setup on UNIX and LINUX systems.
- Collaborate with trading desk staff to comprehend and address their technical requirements.
- Adapt rapidly to evolving situations in the trading environment.
- Manage complex stakeholder relationships effectively.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in application support within a front office trading setting.
