Provide hands-on analytical and business management support to the central team by turning messy/ambiguous inputs into clear insights, trackers, and executive-ready PowerPoint narratives. The role is intended to provide additional capacity for 'getting things done' across day-to-day team priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse large datasets (often complex spreadsheets and multiple sources) to identify trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities.
- Build and maintain trackers, dashboards and KPI reporting to support transformation, compliance/training tracking, and operational performance (as required).
- Translate ambiguous problem statements into structured analysis, clear outputs, and recommended actions.
- Produce executive-ready PowerPoint packs: storyline, charts, commentary, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Provide business management / PMO-style support, including portfolio views, progress reporting, actions and RAID-style tracking.
- Support general team activity and ad-hoc requests (including providing support where needed).
- Work independently with confidential/sensitive information and apply appropriate judgement.
- Collaborate closely with the wider team, taking ownership of allocated tasks and following through to completion.
Key Requirements
- Advanced Excel capability (comfortable with large, messy datasets; building robust trackers; strong attention to detail).
- Strong PowerPoint capability (can create senior-facing narratives and materials, not just reporting slides).
- Demonstrated ability to generate insight from data (connecting dots, identifying drivers, highlighting implications).
- Comfortable working in a complex, matrixed organisation with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration skills and a proactive, 'pitch in and fix it' mindset (happy to do the grunt work when needed).
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude or similar) and how to use them responsibly to accelerate analysis and drafting.
Nice to Have
- Experience in business management / PMO / organisational transformation / project portfolio environments.
- Financial services experience (ideally within a multinational bank).
Other Details
Individual contributor; junior-to-mid level, delivery-oriented (not a manager/overseer profile). Able to operate at pace and handle both detailed execution and senior-facing outputs. Comfortable working with limited direction and taking accountability for quality and deadlines.
