The Transaction Monitoring Analyst will support the day-to-day operations of a newly implemented AML Transaction Monitoring platform, Quantexa. This role is critical to the effective assessment, investigation, and remediation of Level 1 alerts, ensuring ongoing compliance with anti-money laundering regulations. The ideal consultant will have hands-on experience in transaction monitoring, alert investigation, and AML control frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, investigate, and adjudicate alerts generated by the Quantexa transaction monitoring platform
- Work collaboratively with the Level 1 alert adjudication team to ensure consistent and timely alert disposition
- Accurately document alert investigations, decisions, and outcomes in line with internal policies
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of alert remediation processes and controls
- Provide feedback on system functionality and assist with ongoing optimisation of the AML platform
- Support the onboarding, training, or guidance of new team members when required
