We are currently seeking dynamic and resourceful individuals to join our technology practice as Quant Developers/Analysts, with expertise in Python and C++, primarily focusing on building out mathematical models and analytical tools for the high performing equities desk at a leading multinational investment bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting modelling Quants on major projects to ensure coding efficiency and consistency across the library and different asset classes.
- Designing the overall architecture of the library and coding best practice.
- Development of ad hoc tools to showcase functionality or facilitate investigations.
- Contribute to strategic development design and decision making.
- Develop technical solutions for the desk as required.
- To develop model calibration routines and market data analytics.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure developments make it to production.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Quantitative Analyst developing models in quantitative finance or a trading environment.
- Knowledge of the standard pricing models used in the investment banking industry.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ programming languages.
- Proficiency with multithreading and asynchronous environments.
- Strong understanding of low-latency and real-time system design and implementation.
- Knowledge of typical vanilla and exotic equities structured products with a focus on real-time low-latency trading systems.
- Familiarity with analysis of execution algorithm performance.
- Exposure to or experience with basic software design patterns and principles.
- Consistent demonstration of clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Adaptability to a dynamic work environment.
