We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our Technology Change Practice as a Product/Delivery Manager. As the Product/Delivery Manager, you will help define and shape the roadmap for a new single source Client & Customer Data solution for a Compliance and Operations function. The focus of the role will be to define the roadmap and build the scope for the data solution, working with teams across compliance, Ops, and Tech to build value streams and product backlog.

The role:

  • Develop a product roadmap, ensuring alignment to the Customer/Client data source vision and establish an associated backlog, taking accountability for successful delivery against this with a clear user-focused, service design approach.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders from across the business including Financial Product, Financial Crime, Operations, Compliance and Technology and the control functions to understand business needs and priorities, supporting effective inclusion in product/delivery roadmap.
  • Define and measure the success criteria for product(s), creating a clear set of OKRs that support the Business Transformation goals and the Bank’s wider strategic objectives.
  • Establish clear feedback loops to understand the impact product and feed changes and improvements in the backlog, continually reviewing, refining and prioritising the backlog to create optimal value in line with the overarching product roadmap vision and OKRs.
  • Design and develop new processes for new client and customer data source, with diligent assessment and careful consideration of any impact upon existing processes and services.
  • Develop strong working relationships with the Business Transformation Governance area and colleagues in the control functions, demonstrating effective governance, control and risk management throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of a Data product delivery environment with exposure to, or knowledge of, agile development and change methodologies.
  • Experience / and or a robust understanding of customer/client onboarding and lifecycle processes in financial services is highly desirable.
  • Be driven, have high levels of personal accountability, not being afraid to be hands-on and get into the detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously, often with competing priorities.
  • A good knowledge of the Financial Services industry.
  • Strong experience of data analysis, data modelling, and understanding of data quality and governance concepts for the accounting functions of the bank.
  • Excellent project documentation skills and good experience with project delivery and test governance processes.
  • Evidence of covering the full project lifecycle from inception through to system delivery with IT and process embedding with the sponsoring business function.
  • Experience of building automated exceptions management solutions for Operations teams would be an added advantage.
  • Relevant experience in delivering change across the relevant Data & Regulatory Reporting teams (Data Operations, Regulatory Reporting, Trade Conduct and Finance Controls, Collateral and Risk, Tax Operations).
