We’re hiring a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst with a strong background in Rates to join a leading financial institution. The ideal consultant will bring deep expertise in quantitative modelling, pricing, and risk management, combined with strong programming ability in Python and C++.
You’ll play a key role in enhancing and extending the Quant Library, working closely with traders, quants, and risk teams to support pricing, valuation adjustments, and model validation.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and extend quantitative models across the Rates business.
- Contribute to the Quant Library design, construction, and performance optimisation.
- Implement and calibrate SABR (Volatility and VAR) models.
- Work closely with front-office quants and technology to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
- Support risk and PnL teams in understanding and validating pricing and sensitivity calculations.
Key Requirements
- Strong academic background in a quantitative discipline (Maths, Physics, Engineering, or similar).
- Proven experience as a Quant Analyst / Quant Developer in a Rates environment.
- Proficient in Python and C++ for model development and integration.
- Hands-on experience with SABR modelling and VAR frameworks.
- Strong understanding of derivatives pricing, stochastic calculus, and risk management concepts.
- Experience building and analysing large-scale quant libraries.
