We are seeking a VAT Data Analyst role which is critical for analysing VAT‑related data within banking and financial services. The primary goal is to ensure accurate identification, mapping, and reporting of VAT data to maintain compliance and data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Identify and extract VAT data from complex banking datasets.
- Map data from source systems to downstream processes.
- Perform data cleansing and identify data gaps or inconsistencies.
- Document findings and report to stakeholders with clarity.
- Work confidently with internally developed systems.
Requirements
- Strong Data Analyst background (5+ years preferred).
- Proven experience working with VAT or Tax data.
- Experience in data cleansing and data mapping.
- Ability to perform data lineage analysis and gap identification.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder reporting skills.
- Financial Services/Banking experience.
- Experience with FATCA or other tax reporting regimes.
- Understanding of transactional bank data structures.
- Experience in regulatory or compliance‑driven data environments.
