In addition, the Delivery Manager will oversee a trade clearing programme aligned to US mandatory clearing requirements, as well as initiatives within the SWIFT landscape. Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the T+2 to T+1 settlement programme, ensuring all operational, technological, regulatory, and governance impacts are fully addressed.
- Oversee the delivery of the trade clearing programme supporting US mandatory clearing requirements.
- Coordinate and manage initiatives within the SWIFT environment, ensuring alignment with broader market infrastructure change.
- Own delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues across all workstreams.
- Act as the primary accountability point for programme delivery outcomes.
- Provide regular progress reporting to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
- Manage cross-functional teams including operations, technology, change, and external vendors.
- Engage with senior and executive-level stakeholders, providing clear communication and pragmatic recommendations to facilitate decision-making.
- Drive adherence to internal controls, compliance, and governance standards in all delivery activities.
- Identify opportunities to streamline delivery processes, remove bottlenecks, and maintain momentum in complex programmes.
Qualifications
- Proven track record as a Delivery Manager or equivalent within capital markets, settlements, or post-trade environments.
- Experience managing large-scale regulatory or market-driven change programmes, particularly in T+1/T+2 settlement or trade clearing initiatives.
- Strong understanding of settlement processes, trade lifecycle, and market infrastructure.
- Exposure to trade clearing and US mandatory clearing requirements.
- Experience with SWIFT messaging standards and transformation initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with competing priorities.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior and executive stakeholders.
- Strong risk, issue, and dependency management capabilities.
- Comfortable operating in complex, regulated financial services environments.
- Understanding of the operational, control, and governance implications of post-trade change programmes.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
