We are currently looking for an Operational Risk Business Analyst to join the team. This role will be 3 DAYS A WEEK ON SITE. It is a hands-on technical role, where you will be responsible for conducting detailed analyses, mapping risk frameworks, and supporting compliance efforts with operational risk management, including adherence to the DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) framework. Responsibilities include: Conducting detailed analyses of operational risk frameworks, interpreting regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA, ISO standards), and mapping them to business and technical systems. Producing comprehensive traceability matrices to ensure end-to-end compliance with operational risk regulations. Engaging with stakeholders to identify and document the impact of risk management requirements on systems, processes, and workflows. Supporting incident management efforts, leveraging the five pillars of DORA to structure responses and drive compliance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support deep dives, impact assessments, and detailed risk requirement gathering. Monitoring regulatory developments in operational resilience and risk to ensure timely and proactive responses to emerging compliance needs. Supporting supplier/vendor contract risk analysis and engaging in related process improvement initiatives. Conducting reviews and securing buy-in from senior management for implementing robust operational risk strategies. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an operational risk environment, preferably within financial services. Strong knowledge of IT landscapes with an emphasis on cyber risk and cybersecurity practices. Experience in supplier/vendor contract risk analysis and engagement with related processes. Understanding of critical business processes and their dependencies on technology. Familiarity with incident management processes and application of the five pillars of DORA. Knowledge of ISO standards and other regulatory frameworks related to operational risk. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior executives and cross-functional teams. Desirable Skills: Awareness of additional risk factors such as employee betting processes and internal vulnerabilities. Experience working in operational risk environments, particularly within financial services. Familiarity with advocacy efforts and internal communications regarding regulatory changes. Knowledge of financial compliance systems and traceability methodologies.
