emagine has an opportunity for you to support and stabilise a critical production & MES environment during a key transition period, working closely with local UK teams. You will play a central role in ensuring operational continuity across production systems, ERP, and MES activities for Solina UK.
Key tasks & deliverables include:
- Ensuring, monitoring, and actively supporting the smooth transfer of knowledge from the outgoing resource
- Participating directly in securing critical undocumented process areas
- Maintaining a strong and credible link with business teams during the transition
- Supporting continuity of ongoing and upcoming projects, including:
- DPS (currently in its landing phase)
- Process improvement initiative on an existing site
- New site ramp-up in the initiation phase
Qualifications
Are you an experienced IT Production Systems Manager with strong ERP and manufacturing operations expertise? You should bring strong IT-for-manufacturing expertise as well as the credibility to operate in a hybrid IT/business environment.
Ability to work on-site in Biggleswade 2 days per week (Tue/Wed), with potential occasional travel to other UK sites.
Solid understanding of ERP ecosystems and production/supply chain processes—preferably in the food industry.
Ability to engage confidently with technical and non-technical teams.
Experience supporting system transitions or environments with limited documentation.
Autonomous, senior presence with the ability to challenge, support, and collaborate effectively.
Ideally also experienced with:
- MS SQL
- ERP systems: Sage 1000, Sage 200, AX 2009, DPS Netstock, APS Siemens
- MES environments
- Reporting & analytics
- Bill of Materials, master resource management, and production planning processes
