What you will be doing:
As a qualified Nurse (RMN/RNLD/RGN), you will care for people with a Learning Disability and Autism, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.
The wards are busy, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, and a good amount of routine and variety. Your day-to-day will include:
- Providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users
- Being responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care
- Providing mentorship and support to team members
- Observing, recording and reporting all service user changes, and maintaining accurate records of care provided
Skills and knowledge you will have:
- A relevant nursing qualification
- NMC registration
- Strong team-working skills
- A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
- A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
- A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
Where you will be working:
Location: Cliff Road, Welton, Lincolnshire, LN2 3JN
You will be working at Healthlinc House, a Learning Disability and Autism service is specifically designed to provide small group or single person environments, replicating an ordinary living setting.
With the multi-disciplinary team you will provide treatment and therapy to support daily living skills within the community to create an independent lifestyle.
The hospital service is a locked rehabilitation service, working in line with the Transforming Care Agenda to support people to receive the treatment/therapy to be supported in the community.
Healthlinc Apartments is a specialist community-based service which forms a key part of the care pathway and step-down service. The apartments provides a nursing care service and works to prevent hospital admission for those in our services.
