Working alongside the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for organising and coordinating First Tier Tribunals Section Renewal and Hospital Manager Appeal meetings for service users, including preparing and arranging paperwork. As a Mental Health Act Administrator, you will process hearings for Mental Health Tribunals and Hospital Managers Reviews, notify all parties, obtain reports, negotiate hearing dates and venues, and handle documentation according to MHA Code of Practice and procedures. Responsibilities include: Attending Managers Review Hearings as MHA Administrator/Clerk, ensuring legal fairness and lawfulness. Following up on MHA action points from CQC reports post-visit. liaising with clinical teams to update service users on section renewals and treatment consent. Providing information about access to Independent Mental Health Advocacy Services (IMHA). Requirements: Confidence in liaising and advising diverse professionals. Experience in a similar role. Knowledge of relevant legislation and case law related to the Act. Location: Dunnock View, Tendring, Clacton-on-Sea, CO16 0BX.
