This is a role as a Healthcare Assistant at Elysium Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services in the UK. The job is located in Walton on the Naze, Essex and is a temporary position. Main duties of the job

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will join a supportive and inclusive team that works together to provide high-quality care to individuals with learning disabilities and autism. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Job responsibilities

You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with learning disabilities and autism. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Ward rounds
  • Analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly
  • Updating patient records
  • Providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene

The shift pattern is 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week including nights and weekends.

Where you will be working

Location: Asher House, Third Avenue, Walton On The Naze, CO14 8JU. Asher House consists of six bespoke, single-person apartments within a registered care setting with 24-hour nursing support. It provides a robust environment and high-intensity care model which is designed to support people who have a Learning Disability & Autism with highly complex needs and behaviours.
