Join our team in Brighton & Hove Clinic. Working 37.5 hours per week as an experienced Nurse from the NHS or private sector, you’ll join the team at Brighton & Hove as a Physical Health Nurse working 9am-5pm Monday to Friday where you will change lives for the better.

What you will be doing:
- Facilitating physical healthcare plans/treatments to patients, in order to maintain their optimum level of physical well-being
- Leading the development and review of all care plans for physical health, to ensure that patients' physical health needs have clear interventions, which are being met
- Carrying out routine and ad-hoc PCR swabs for patients
- Facilitating/support staff to ensure that routine and ad hoc blood tests are carried out as prescribed and the results recorded appropriately and followed up where appropriate with the medical team
- Ensuring that all patients have their ECGs as prescribed by the Consultant and that results are communicated to the clinical team and evidence is documented on Care notes
- Educating staff in relation to the use of Naso-gastric tube feeding ensuring that staff are adhering to the requirements outlined in their prescriptions from the dietitian and that care plans are updated to reflect the current prescription
- Attend ICR meetings as required and to contribute to the development and review of physical healthcare plans
- Undertaking Audits
- Facilitating educational workshop/teaching sessions on aspects of physical care healthcare best practice treatments
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- To hold a full NMC registration in general nursing (RGN)
- A minimum of 3 years post registration experience
- Evidence of a Valid NMC registration
- Experience in NG Feeding & Phlebotomy
- Experience of training others
- A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
- An understanding of eating disorders and mental health
- Experience of working with young people is desirable
