As a Maintenance Assistant, you will ensure that the service\’s facilities are fit for purpose, undertake gardening, and regularly conduct audits to identify and repair faults, ensuring safety for service users, staff, and visitors.
You will work alongside an established team, handling various maintenance tasks, liaising with contractors, and supporting the upkeep of the service.

As a Maintenance Assistant, your responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the service, buildings, facilities, and equipment to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Using good DIY skills to maintain safety.
- Performing regular checks and maintenance.
- Repairing and maintaining all buildings.
- Decorating as needed.
- Liaising with managers to report faults and defects.
- Participating in a 1-week rotating on-call duty for emergency maintenance.
- Supporting contractors on site and completing necessary paperwork and tool checks.
To succeed in this role, you should:
- Follow system and procedures.
- Have previous maintenance experience.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Show courtesy and respect to residents to ensure high-quality service.
