Introduction

If you have an eye for detail and enjoy creating a safe and clean environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society, then join the team at Chadwick Lodge as a Housekeeper. You will be an integral part of the housekeeping team at a service for service users who have been detained under the Mental Health Act (1983) and have a history of offending behaviour. Your responsibilities will include cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms, and visitor areas. Working closely with the maintenance team, you\’ll ensure all areas are spotless and deliver high-standard cleaning services. You will receive all necessary training to get you started and join a dedicated team committed to making a positive difference and changing lives for the better. Responsibilities

  • Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures.
  • Being an active team member with responsibilities over daily operations.
  • Maintaining excellent telephone etiquette and greeting visitors professionally.
  • Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with staff, visitors, and service users.
  • Helping create a positive culture.
  • Undertaking any other appropriate tasks as requested.
  • Attending mandatory and statutory training annually as required by Elysium Healthcare.

  • Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment.

Work Location

Chadwick Drive (off Saxon Street), Eaglestone, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK6 5LS. You will work at Chadwick Lodge and Eaglestone View, providing specialist treatment for service users detained under the Mental Health Act (1983) with a history of offending behaviour. The services offer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, involving service users at every stage, led by a multidisciplinary team experienced in forensic psychiatry. The aim is to reduce re-offending risk and improve quality of life, helping service users move towards community settings whenever possible.
