Overview
There\’s more to being a driver than simply sitting behind the wheel. As a driver for Farmfield Hospital, you will help ensure the service runs smoothly by transporting your team and service users to a variety of locations within the community and ensuring timely collection. You will work alongside the Farmfield Hospital team with a strong emphasis on teamwork and support. You will have the opportunity to develop your skillset by supporting other departments within the hospital, including Administration and security checks. You will be responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and record-keeping of the vehicle. A clean and full UK driving licence for at least 2 years is required. You will work a variety of shift patterns, including 6am starts and weekends. Location: Farmfield Drive, Charlwood, Surrey, RH6 0BN.
The hospital is a large purpose-built medium-secure service with good facilities. It serves adult men aged 18+ with forensic backgrounds and enduring mental health illnesses. Farmfield Hospital is located north-west of Gatwick airport near the village of Hookwood, with good transport links by road, bus and train. It is easiest to reach the site by car.
