Are you a Housing Litigation Lawyer driven by purpose and impact? A top-tier, socially-focused law firm is seeking a dedicated legal professional to join its expanding Housing Litigation team in Manchester. The Role
You will manage a varied and rewarding caseload, providing crucial advice and advocacy for housing associations, local authorities, and charitable landlords. Your work will include:
- Defending disrepair claims and supervising legal assistants.
- Securing and defending anti-social behaviour injunctions.
- Prosecuting under the Environmental Protection Act.
- Handling complex possession claims (including Equality Act and mental capacity defences).
- Resolving residential leasehold and shared ownership disputes.
- Providing housing management advice and delivering legislative updates.
The Team
You will join a close-knit, ten-person team in Manchester, collaborating with a 17-strong national housing litigation department. The team is known for being supportive, highly skilled, and passionate about their work.
Qualifications
- Experience in housing law or residential leasehold litigation.
- Confidence in advocacy and a passion for representing clients at court.
- A collaborative, supportive approach with excellent delegation skills.
- The ability to manage a busy caseload, meeting deadlines with ease.
