Vacancy for Careers Co-ordinator
Salary: Grade 7
Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year
We are now looking for a Careers Co-ordinator to lead, develop, and deliver a high-quality careers education, information, advice, and guidance across the school. Ideally using a Level 6 qualification you will provide personalised guidance to students, empowering them to make informed choices about their future pathways.
The ideal candidate
- Level 6 careers qualification
- Good educational background with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience of administration background, education and working with young people
- Able to make positive relationships with children, parents, staff and outside agencies
- Positive and enthusiastic approach with the ability to work within a team as well as on own initiative.
- Knowledge of the need for confidentiality and awareness of child protection issue
