What You’ll Do
- Lead and support electrical design activities for critical data centre infrastructure across EMEA.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring design excellence in various regions.
- Review and approve equipment submittals, and manage external design consultancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate user requirements into robust designs.
- Troubleshoot challenges, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.
- Define project scopes and provide hands-on support during construction phases.
- Specify and coordinate with regional vendors and manufacturers for electrical equipment.
- Travel for site reviews, engineering audits, and project launches as needed.
- Share knowledge and embrace new standards, always seeking creative solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Experience researching and applying new designs, technologies, and construction methods in data centre environments.
- Familiarity with commissioning and local building codes/regulations.
- Proven track record in industrial or commercial engineering, ideally in mission-critical facilities (data centres, power generation, or similar).
- Strong contractor negotiation and project management skills.
- Ability to carry design concepts from ideation through to deployment.
- Comfortable interpreting and creating construction drawings and technical documentation.
- Professional Engineer License (preferred).
