Elwood Recruitment are looking for Support Workers in Southgate. If you have experience supporting adults with disabilities, live in Southgate or surrounding areas, are passionate about supporting vulnerable adults, have a minimum of 6 months experience within the care sector, want control over your own work schedule, and are looking for weekly pay, then we are looking for you!
About the role: Elwood Recruitment is recruiting for Support Workers in Southgate. You will work in Residential Services which provide 24 hour care and support to adults with learning disabilities. The role involves providing day to day support with daily living tasks, activities and making full use of community opportunities. As part of the care and support team you will assist in maintaining a safe and enabling environment that provides positive experiences to those living within the service.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with shopping and having nice meals out
- Doing arts and crafts
- Attending day services
- Music, sing along or disco's
- Reflexology
- Enabling independence by assisting with day-to-day tasks (this may include but is not limited to finances, shopping, cooking & personal care)
