An established environmental engineering and consultancy organisation is seeking a Fire Risk & Safety Consultant to support a major multinational corporate and banking environment across its EMEA property portfolio. This is a highly visible, operationally critical position based full-time onsite in Central London, supporting complex corporate buildings and high-profile stakeholders within a fast-paced international environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining fire safety standards, supporting incident response, overseeing fire safety operations, and helping protect people, assets, and business continuity across a large corporate campus environment. This role would suit someone with strong fire safety experience within multinational corporate, commercial, banking, critical infrastructure, or similarly high-expectation environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Fire Risk Assessments across corporate and commercial office environments
  • Support the management and operation of fire safety systems and fire alarm response procedures
  • Participate in and oversee fire safety patrols, inspections, and compliance activities
  • Monitor and manage fire safety risks, anomalies, and remedial actions using established reporting systems
  • Support the implementation and ongoing management of fire safety policies, procedures, and SOPs
  • Work closely with security teams, facilities teams, contractors, and senior stakeholders across the EMEA campus
  • Review and approve permits to work and hot works permits where appropriate
  • Monitor fire compartmentation, fire stopping, and wider building fire protection measures
  • Deliver fire safety training and awareness sessions to staff and vendors
  • Investigate fire alarm activations and produce structured incident reports
  • Support fire wardens and wider emergency preparedness activities
  • Assist with maintaining fire safety records, audits, and compliance documentation
  • Provide support during significant fire safety incidents, including occasional out-of-hours escalation support where required
Requirements:
  • Proven background within Fire Safety, Fire Risk Assessment, or Fire Safety Management roles
  • Strong practical experience managing fire safety systems within corporate or commercial environments
  • Previous experience carrying out Fire Risk Assessments
  • Comfortable operating within high-profile, fast-paced, and stakeholder-heavy environments
  • Experience working within multinational corporate environments is highly desirable
  • International or EMEA operational exposure would be advantageous
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work closely with security teams, operational teams, and senior management
  • Comfortable managing incidents and working under pressure
Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment qualification or equivalent preferred
  • NEBOSH Fire Safety or similar qualification desirable
  • Membership with IFSM, IFE, IOSH, or similar professional body is advantageous
  • Additional fire safety management qualifications beneficial
Additional Information:

  • 5 days per week onsite required
  • Salary between £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience
