The Opportunity:

We are supporting an established environmental consultancy and estate management provider in the appointment of a Regional Estates Manager to oversee a portfolio of land and vacant property assets across the North West. This role sits within a specialist team responsible for ensuring land and property assets are safely managed, compliant and operationally maintained. The position combines estate management, contractor coordination and health & safety oversight across a geographically spread portfolio. It is a hands-on, operational role that requires regular site visits, stakeholder coordination, and the practical management of land and estate-related risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management of land and vacant property portfolios
  • Oversee contractors, consultants and works programmes
  • Conduct site inspections and risk assessments
  • Manage revenue and capital works projects
  • Provide professional advice to support land and property clients
  • Mentor and support estate managers and junior team members
  • Represent the consultancy in project meetings and stakeholder discussions

Candidate Profile:

This role would suit someone with experience in:

  • Land and property management
  • Facilities management
  • Vacant property management
  • Environmental or landscape management
  • Health & safety within estates or property environments

You should be comfortable managing multiple sites, contractors and stakeholders while maintaining strong compliance standards.

Experience required:

  • Managing property, land or estate portfolios
  • Strong working knowledge of health & safety legislation
  • Managing contractors and site works
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and stakeholders
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
  • NEBOSH or equivalent H&S qualification
  • Professional membership (IOSH, RICS, Landscape Institute or similar)
  • Experience managing large land portfolios
