About the Role: If you have a passion for engineering and are looking for your next challenge, this is an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider in the SatCom and Maritime sector. As part of the field engineering team, you'll support a wide range of vessels – from super tankers to mega yachts – installing, maintaining, and repairing vital communications and navigation systems.
The role offers the chance to work independently or as part of a team, supported by extensive training from industry-leading manufacturers. You'll be part of a collaborative, can-do culture in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to develop technically and work on complex retrofit and bridge integration projects.
Client: Our client delivers satellite and radio communication solutions globally, with operations across Europe, Singapore, and the United States. They employ approximately 250 people worldwide and provide secure, high-quality communication services for maritime, enterprise, and government sectors.

What You'll Do:
- Perform VDR Annual Performance Tests (VDR-APTs)
- Conduct radio surveys and inspections
- Install, repair, and maintain GMDSS communication equipment
- Install, repair, and maintain navigational systems
- Install, repair, and maintain VSAT satellite broadband systems
- Work on retrofit projects, completing full bridge system installations and large-scale integrations
What We'll Expect:
- Higher National Certificate (HNC), ONC, NVQ Level or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Ideally educated or qualified in an IT or engineering-related field
- Possession of a full, clean driving licence
- Ability to pass a marine/offshore medical examination
- Valid passport for international travel
- At least 3 years of experience as a Marine Service Engineer
- Strong knowledge of electronic and electrical engineering principles
- GMDSS Radio Operator / Maintainer Licence preferred
