Contract – D365 ERP Technical Consultant (D365 F&O) – EU Remote
Industry: Satellite Communications (SatCom)
Duration: 3–6 Months
Location: Fully Remote (EU-based candidates only)
Reporting to: CIO
We are seeking a hands-on D365 ERP Technical Consultant to take ownership of a live Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) environment within a growing SatCom business. This is a platform ownership role within a small, high-trust team. You will work directly with the CIO and business stakeholders to ensure the ERP platform remains stable, data is available and reliable, and reporting capabilities continue to evolve. The successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running, operate independently, and act as a bridge between the business and technology teams. This is not a pure functional consulting role and it is not a development-only position. We are looking for someone who understands how D365 F&O operates within a live business environment and can take ownership of issues through to resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run and support the live D365 F&O environment
- Act as a key point of contact between business users and technical teams
- Ensure ERP data is accurate, structured, and available to internal stakeholders
- Maintain and improve integrations between D365, Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI
- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement improvements
- Improve reporting consistency, data quality, and governance
- Support business users and help develop internal capability
- Document processes and establish scalable platform practices
Required Experience:
- Proven experience supporting and running a live D365 Finance & Operations environment
- Strong understanding of D365 F&O data structures, integrations, and business processes
- Experience integrating D365 data into Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and/or Power BI
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and translating requirements into solutions
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working within a small team and advising CIO-level leadership
