Ready to lead from behind the bar? We\’re looking for a hands-on, people-focused Bar Manager to take ownership of our bar operations, lead a great team, and ensure every member and guest enjoys a welcoming, top-tier experience.
Whether it\’s a matchday buzz, a private function, or just a laid-back evening pint, you\’ll be the face of the bar, keeping things running smoothly, compliantly, and with a smile.
What you\’ll be doing:

  • Running day-to-day bar operations like a well-oiled machine.
  • Leading, training, and motivating a team of bar staff to deliver brilliant service.
  • Keeping the bar fully stocked, organised, and compliant at all times.
  • Collaborating with our Events Co-ordinator, Catering Provider, and Treasurer to support smooth event delivery and accurate financial tracking.
  • Making sure every customer leaves happy and comes back for more.
  • Managing rotas, ordering stock, controlling budgets, and handling POS systems.
  • Driving promotions and seasonal specials to keep things fresh and fun.
  • Upholding hygiene, health & safety, and licensing standards with pride.

What we\’re looking for:

  • 1+ years\’ experience as a Bar Manager or Bar Supervisor in a hospitality setting.
  • A natural leader who can get the best out of their team.
  • Great customer service instincts warm, calm, and proactive.
  • Strong understanding of bar operations, stock control, and cash handling
  • Comfortable working evenings and weekends in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound knowledge of food hygiene, safety regulations, and licensing laws.
  • Confident with POS systems, compliance, and financial reporting.

Bonus points if you have:

  • A Personal Licence
  • Experience in event-based bar service (e.g., sports, functions, community clubs)
