The position: UK/EU Logistics & Operations Specialist

We’re Elvie – a pioneer in the FemTech industry, developing cutting-edge smart technology to transform previously overlooked categories like breast pumping and pelvic floor health. Our mission is to empower women through radical, female-first innovation, breaking taboos and challenging stigma along the way.

Elvie recently joined forces with Willow, a fellow leader in FemTech and maternal health based in the U.S. This powerful combination brings together two iconic brands, combining a market-leading product portfolio with teams of world-class engineers, designers, and commercial experts. Together, we’re set to shape the future of maternal health on a global scale.

As we embark on this exciting new transitional chapter, this role will play a pivotal part in helping to define and deliver our vision across international markets.

Did you know? In some regions our amazing products are considered to be medical devices. This means we maintain our Medical Device quality management system in compliance with ISO 13485:2016, to support the development of our groundbreaking products.

About the role: This role will ensure smooth operations at our UK and EU 3PLs, ensuring inventory is well managed. Reporting to the US-based Senior Director of Logistics/Supply Chain, you will be focused on managing inventory and coverage across the UK & EU, managing variable cost at our UK & EU 3PLs, and ensuring packaging meets regulatory requirements across all markets. The UK/EU Operations Specialist is a remote role based in the UK, necessitating occasional travel to the UK and EU 3PLs.

Location: Hybrid working; a mix of working from our Bristol or London office & working remotely

Employment type: Permanent (please note, you must have the right to work in the UK)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support the move to a consolidated 3PL network, including but not limited to system SKU setup, mass inventory transfers, training 3PL personnel to Willow/Elvie SOPs
  • Review and summarize monthly 3PL invoices; escalate any perceived issues/discrepancies
  • Provide assistance/guidance cross-functionally and to management on matters related to UK & EU distribution
  • Support Customer Care on queries relating to item selection and shipment to markets
  • Develop market specific requirements for new product launches
  • Manage review of submissions and documentation linked with import and customs clearance in International markets to avoid risk of penalties
  • Manage UK & EU record retention to ensure compliance with local requirements
  • Ensure Dangerous Goods compliance across impacted portfolio

What you’ll bring:

  • Expertise in UK, EU and International logistics compliance
  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical field plus ideally a minimum of 3 years in industry; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Experience managing third party logistics providers
  • Ease of adapting to new software systems
  • Experience building reports and analysing data in Excel
  • Effective communicator and time manager
  • High degree of critical thinking and creative problem solving
  • Strong sense of ownership, and thrives in ever-changing environments

The benefits you’ll get:

We’re on an exceptional journey. And we can offer you a genuinely purpose-led career with a culture built on trust, autonomy, and flexibility. In addition, we’ll give you:

  • 9-day fortnight working pattern - for our full time employees we work 9 days every fortnight with every other Friday as a non-working day for you to spend as you wish.
  • Lots of flexibility: whether it’s working from home, doing the school run, or life admin. We believe trust and flexibility allows everyone to show up as their best selves.
  • 25 days’ annual leave, plus bank holidays.

  • 5=10 leave: 10 days’ additional leave on your 5th and 10th years of service.
  • Generous parental leave policies; maternity & adoption (16 weeks at full pay, then 8 weeks paid at 75% followed by 15 weeks at SMP rate), paternity/partner (6 weeks at full pay to take at any point during the first year of your child’s life), shared parental leave.
  • Healthcare plans, life insurance, and an employee assistance program for you and your family.
  • Group income protection; protect your salary if you get sick.
  • A free Elvie Trainer for you to keep or give away when you join.
  • Generous employee and friends & family discounts on Elvie products.
