Elvet Recruitment is excited to partner with a prominent regional developer in the search for a Customer Service Operative to support their new home developments across the North East. With over 25 years of industry experience, our client is part of a successful group of companies specializing in housing construction and development. Key Responsibilities:

  • The Group is dedicated to maintaining a high standard of Health and Safety in all its operations. The post holder will be expected to contribute to upholding these standards to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation within their working area and across sites.
  • Actively participate in personal development through appraisals and engage in any identified training or development opportunities.
  • Embrace the importance of fairness and equality in the workplace, treating all individuals with dignity and respect.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a clean, organized, and respectful manner.
  • Possess tact and professionalism when representing the company in customers’ homes.
  • Must be able to think on your feet and adapt quickly, as situations may differ from initial reports.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for completing remedial work, attending inspections on behalf of the client, completing scope of works, and coordinating trades.
  • A recognized trade qualification is required, along with previous experience in a customer-facing role.
  • A multi-skilled background is essential, with proficiency in some or all of the following areas: carpentry, tiling, decorating, plumbing, and high-quality finishing.
  • A full, clean driving license is mandatory.

Role Information:

  • Standard working hours will typically be Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. Flexibility may be required based on workload.
  • Occasional out-of-hours work may be necessary in case of emergencies, and the post holder will be required to respond to emergency out-of-hours calls.
  • A company uniform and vehicle for business use will be provided.
