Elvet Recruitment are currently on the lookout for 2x Site Managers on behalf of a family-owned business, renowned for quality work on all of their projects. The schemes would cover County Durham, Teesside and North Yorkshire working on Groundworks, Roads & Sewers and Plotworks.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Full management of site, reporting to and liaising with a Contracts Manager & Construction Director.
- Leading projects from early site setup through to handover.
- Ensure programmes are reviewed and updated.
- Completing daily site diaries.
- Ordering materials for site.
- Ensure RAMS are written and updated.
- Progress meetings with senior management and client.
- Overseeing direct delivery teams and sub-contractors.
Experience required:
Must have:
- Experience working as Site Agent or Site Manager.
- Experience managing projects from cradle to grave.
- Detailed experience with: Roads, Sewers, S278 works, Foundations, Kerbing and Drainage.
- SMSTS, Temporary Works, Appointed Person, First Aid.
Nice to have:
- Engineering background, working from Site Engineer to Site Agent.
- Degree qualified or HNC/HND qualified within civil engineering.
Remuneration:
