Elvet Recruitment is working with an established building main contractor who are looking to hire a Document Controller for their growing team in the North East area. They specialise across the Commercial, Leisure, Healthcare, Industrial, Student Accommodation, and Education sectors.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Coordinate and manage all project-related documentation through an organized site filing system.
*
Support the site administration team with general correspondence, filing, and other clerical tasks as required.
*
Maintain and update the Health & Safety File throughout the project lifecycle.
*
Compile and submit weekly plant and material return reports.
*
Prepare and maintain a comprehensive Contract Drawing Matrix to ensure proper tracking and distribution of all contract drawings.
*
Collate and format monthly internal reports for the Project Manager.
*
Input and manage data within the Site Waste Management Plan.
*
Collect and prepare documentation for inclusion in the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals at project completion.
*
Serve as the Document Coordinator for BIW and manage control of all project drawings.
What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in a comparable role, preferably within the construction sector.
*
Skilled in using Common Data Environment (CDE) systems such as Asite, Conject, BIM 360, and BIM Docs.
*
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365, with strong digital competency.
*
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities.
*
Capable of managing multiple tasks, prioritising effectively, and working efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.

Up to £29,000 DOE
