About the Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of residential developments within the area. You'll play a key role in budgeting, cost control, subcontractor management, and financial reporting, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare draft and site start budgets for allocated developments.
- Produce quarterly valuations and material cost-to-complete exercises.
- Manage subcontractor payments and final accounts, ensuring proper sign-off.
- Issue subcontract orders in line with company policy and required documentation.
- Conduct on-site measurements and assess contractor payments.
- Attend and contribute to meetings with internal teams and external contractors.
- Oversee subcontractor performance and maintain trade specifications.
- Price customer extras and liaise with the sales team as needed.
- Manage the Professional Fees Budget and assist with material buying.
- Support land appraisals through take-offs and cost input.
