Elvet Recruitment is currently working on behalf of a leading national housebuilder to recruit a Sales Advisor based for developments across the Yorkshire area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded residential developer known for delivering quality homes and outstanding customer experiences across the UK.

This is a dynamic and customer-focused role where you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the sales complex, guiding prospective buyers through the purchasing journey, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from initial enquiry through to legal completion. The successful candidate will play a key role in achieving sales targets, progressing reservations efficiently, and maintaining the high standards expected across the development. Please note, this role will require frequent travel across developments throughout Yorkshire, therefore a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Maintaining the presentation of the sales complex and development to a high standard
  • Guiding prospective buyers around show homes, stock plots, and developments
  • Providing accurate and up-to-date information to potential purchasers
  • Achieving qualified reservations and meeting sales targets
  • Progressing reservations through to exchange and legal completion
  • Ensuring visitors comply with Health & Safety procedures while on site
  • Maintaining accurate customer records using the internal CRM system
  • Liaising regularly with purchasers, solicitors, and financial advisers
  • Arranging customer home demonstrations alongside Site Management teams
  • Supporting customers following legal completion with any aftercare or defects queries
  • Attending and taking minutes during weekly Sales and Site meetings
  • Working proactively with Sales Managers and colleagues to maximise sales opportunities
  • Supporting the wider team with ideas and initiatives to drive site performance

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working within a face-to-face sales environment
  • Previous new build property sales experience is desirable
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Strong administration and organisational abilities
  • Confident working independently as well as part of a team
  • IT literate with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Professional, motivated, and target-driven approach
  • GCSE Maths and English Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between developments where required

Role Information:

  • Permanent full-time position
  • £27,000 basic + commission
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
