You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of reception and front-of-house operations, acting as the first point of contact for visitors, calls, and general enquiries, while supporting wider administrative functions across the business. What You’ll Be Doing: * Managing front-of-house reception duties, ensuring all visitors are greeted professionally and efficiently * Operating the switchboard, answering and directing telephone calls in a polite and timely manner * Maintaining a presentable and welcoming reception area at all times * Coordinating incoming deliveries and notifying relevant departments promptly * Organising and booking meeting rooms, ensuring facilities and refreshments are arranged as required * Providing general administrative and secretarial support across the business as needed * Handling incoming emails and enquiries via the company website, ensuring timely and professional responses * Supporting accurate processing of documents, paperwork, and internal correspondence * Maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive information * Assisting with office organisation and ad hoc tasks as directed by senior staff * Providing reception cover during lunch breaks, holidays, and periods of absence * Delivering a consistently high level of customer service to all internal and external stakeholders What We’re Looking For: * Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, or office administration role * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail * Confident using Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook * Ability to work independently using initiative as well as part of a team * Professional, friendly, and customer-focused approach * Good time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively * Flexible approach to working hours to provide cover when required * Self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards supporting office operations Role Information: * Part-time role (16 hours per week) * Based in Teesside * Competitive salary - Pro Rota (DOE) * Flexible working required to cover holidays, absences, and lunch periods * Opportunity to work within a well-established and supportive business environment * Varied role with exposure across multiple departments * Long-term opportunity with stability and ongoing support This is a permanent position and Elvet Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment on behalf of our client.
