Elvet Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with an established housebuilding business to recruit a Customer Services Multi-Trade Technician to join their Customer Services team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and customer-focused tradesperson to carry out a variety of remedial works across occupied and unoccupied properties. You'll be the face of the Customer Services function in the field, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard while providing a professional and courteous service to customers.
The successful candidate will be practical, resourceful and confident working across multiple trades, with strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Carry out multi-trade remedial works across occupied and unoccupied residential properties
- Undertake works including joinery, bricklaying, plaster patching, painting and decorating, tiling and general labouring
- Complete basic M&E tasks where appropriate and within your level of competence
- Read and understand relevant drawings, specifications and construction information
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures, health and safety requirements and relevant legislation
- Provide a professional, courteous and customer-focused service when working in occupied properties
- Liaise directly with xgikmsk customers, provide updates and obtain satisfaction/completion confirmation where possible
- Provide regular progress updates to the central Customer Services team
- Maintain the customer service vehicle, ensuring it is clean, tidy, appropriately stocked and compliant with health and safety requirements
- Monitor van stock and record material usage against individual properties
- Use your judgement to identify effective remedial solutions while considering cost and wider development implications
