Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Graduate or Assistant Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a rapidly expanding Infrastructure business. Our client are looking for a passionate and dynamic Graduate/Assistant as they continue growing the business throughout the UK. Opportunities are available across a variety of sectors and offer a flexible working environment with a hybrid of home, office and client-based working.

Ideally you will have obtained BSc or MSc in a Quantity Surveying degree, a great team spirit, good communication skills and bags of motivation and enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial reporting including forecasting and wider project performance
  • Work alongside operational team to produce accurate End Life Forecasts
  • Manage client interface
  • Risk management including change control and WIP management
  • Contract Administration
  • Provision of contractual advice to the project delivery team
  • Aid in subcontract procurement and placement, ensuring best value for money and lowest risk achieved at all times
  • Payment and debt management
  • Attend internal and external (Client) meetings
  • Final account compilation / submission
Qualifications & Experience:
  • BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent is essential

A salary of up to £45,000 plus attractive package including pension, company car (via salary sacrifice), 25 days holiday etc. This is a permanent position and Elvet Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment on behalf of our client.
