Job Description

Elvet Recruitment are on the lookout for a Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Engineer with aorund 2-4 years experience to join a growing team in the North East.\\n\\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to work on major site investigation and remediation projects, develop your technical expertise, and progress towards chartership and future leadership roles.\\n\\nDuties/Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Plan and supervise site investigations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery\\n\\n * Prepare risk assessments and method statements for upcoming works\\n\\n * Manage on-site health and safety in line with company and legal standards\\n\\n * Conduct soil and rock logging to current British Standards\\n\\n * Gather and analyse in-situ data, groundwater and gas monitoring results\\n\\n * Produce factual and interpretative reports, including Desk Studies, Risk Assessments, and Remediation Strategies\\n\\n * Support tendering and project delivery with accurate data and clear communication\\n\\nQualifications/Experience Required:\\n\\n * A relevant degree in Engineering Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a similar discipline\\n\\n * Good working knowledge of geotechnical principles and contaminated land assessment\\n\\n * Ideally working towards (or achieved) chartership with a recognised professional body\\n\\n * A full, clean UK driving licence\\n\\nOn offer is the following:\\n\\n * Competitive salary: Up to £32,000 (depending on experience)\\n\\n * Flexible working: Office, site, and home-based mix\\n\\n * Holidays, death in service, employee assistance, private healthcare and vehicles also available\\n\\nThis is a permanent position and Elvet Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment on behalf our client.\\n\\nFor more information, contact Jack Vasey at Elvet Recruitment
