Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Freelance Site Manager for a Civil Engineering contractor to work on an ongoing project in Newcastle.
Duties Include:
- Assisting Project Manager in delivery of schemes.
- Daily briefings with staff on site.
- Delivering HSE toolbox talks.
- Overseeing gangs on the ground in daily delivery of work.
- Monitoring H&S with audits.
- Assist with supply chain & sub-contractor management.
- Plant checks & permits for workforce.
Experience Required:
- Must have experience working as a Supervisor on civil engineering & infrastructure projects.
- SMSTS/SSSTS, Temporary Works, Appointed Person, First Aid.
- Detailed experience with: structures, refurb, heavy civils.
Remuneration:
A day rate of £350 to £420 per day is on offer for successful candidates.
